Paulos Circus – Altrincham 13^th May 2016

The Paulos Circus returns to Altrincham for another visit. The Altrincham Duck was invited along to watch the show.
We got a very welcome and it was nice to see that the Circus was disabled friendly.

On the dot at 5.00pm the lights dimmed and the music started and the first act was a  stunning roller skating performance that was fast and furious.
Then a death defying rope act with some heart shopping moments high above the circus ring.
It’s always a delight to see Patchy the clown entertaining the crowds as the next act was being set up, this was a balancing act that had everyone sat on the side of their seats as this stunning show was done.

Patchy was busy again and then a lady started with a fed hot fire act and then onto a twirling hoopla-hoop display, to the delight of everyone.
A rope show was up next high above our heads with lots of cheers echoing around the big top and all eyes staring above.
Patchy the clown was getting plenty of laughs with his fun and games, and the delight was written all over the children’s faces.
More fire scene’s  following entertaining everyone, and then a fast paced drum act, but no drum sticks instead balls being used kept the attention of everyone.

Much to the delight of the children a spaghetti fight broke out with Patchy the clown, with fun interaction, before a mind bending illusion act started which mystified the bewildered spectators.
The tight rope was up next which is always popular to watch, and the part with the unicycle was show stopping.

All good things come to an end, and the grand finale came next with lots of clapping and smiles.
The final words being “Let all you days be Paulos Circus days”

The show was one hour twenty minutes long and the big top was modern and heated. The Paulos Circus and was established in 1816
