Why have you chosen Altrincham to be your location?

We have been searching for a retail base to our business for well over 12 months now, we chose Altrincham simply because of the culture of the town and its location.

After visiting Altrincham market and hearing about the future renovations we quickly made our mind up, our decision was cemented when we heard and saw just how proud locals are of their area, a good example of this is the team behind Alty in bloom, local people putting in effort to improve the appearance of their town, this screams passion and we wanted to be a part of the community.
 

Do you have an opening date set?

We have 1^st August 2015 in our diary as our grand opening event, although this isn’t 100% confirmed, we may go a day or two over our planned date due to the building works that need to take place, we have secured premises and building work is due to commence next week so fingers crossed we shall have our doors open as planned.
 

What sort of services will you be offering?

Gleaming Smile are cosmetic teeth whitening and indoor tanning specialists, our store will be a mixture between a tanning salon and a base to purchase teeth whitening products, the idea behind our bestselling teeth whitening products is to use them on tanning beds, the powerful UV light activates the whitening gel providing exceptional results, our secondary product are home teeth whitening kits which will also be on sale in store.

We intend to allow customers to use the tanning beds only as we don’t want to restrict the use of our store for tanners.  

The General Dental Council has put in place a strict law ​which states only registered dentists, dental therapists, dental hygienists and clinical dental technicians, working to the prescription of a dentist, can perform tooth whitening. Thus making it illegal for the many beauty salons and hairdressers to perform, this has opened the market up for our business giving customers a second option rather than going to dentists which can cost a small fortune. We provide a more cost effective solution which usually produces faster results.

Any future plans?
 

We are currently in the process of manufacturing further products to promote in store which run alongside both teeth whitening and tanning, we aim to become market leader for cosmetic teeth whitening whilst provide a strong local base for tanners.
