Well, there’s a question. Me personally? Well I used to work in oil, then became a hotelier, now I’m an antique (dealer) I’ve had this shop, on New street in Altrincham since 1986 and have definitely opened it alot less times than I should have done. Over the years it’s had three names, furnished many a house in the local area, sold many a family heirloom on behalf of local families, and hosted more ‘cups of tea and chats’ than I care to consider. Now, however, I live next door to it, and have no real excuse not to open it. Problem is, not many people are interested in Antiques anymore, or at least not like they used to be. Well instead of it sitting here empty, with all of these beautiful things, I intend to tell you about them, and bring beautiful, old interesting things into the digital sphere.
