Mummy Massage & Physiotherapy clinic is owned by Deborah K Schofield BSC (Hons) MCSP SRP who runs a salon based clinic in Sale (M33) South Manchester and a home based clinic in Norden, Rochdale (OL12). Therefore appointments are available in both the South Manchester and Rochdale areas. Mummy massage first began as a home based business in Sale (M33), Cheshire in 2013 and due to its success has now evolved into a fully established business.
Deborah has a love of both the holistic therapies and manual therapies and subsequently first qualified in Swedish body massage in 2006. Following this qualification she studied Physiotherapy at the University of Salford where she received a first class honours in 2009. Deborah's passion is working with pregnant women and therefore holds a part-time specialist post as a senior women's health physiotherapist at Wythenshawe Hospital. Deborah has attended many post graduate courses to further develop her skills, including a pregnancy massage course where she obtained an accredited diploma certificate.She is a member of the chartered society of physiotherapy, a recognised professional on the HCPC register and a member of the federation of holistic therapists.
In addition, Andrew Schofield is also at hand to deal with your sporting injuries. Andy has. more than 10 years experience in treating professional footballers and elite.athletes. Andy was a physiotherapist at Burnley football club from 2004 to 2011 and is now a senior lecturer on the sports rehabilitation course at Bolton university. During this post he has helped develop service contracts with warrington wolves, bury fc, oldham athletic fc, wigan athletic fc, bolton wanderers, barnsley and wigan warriors. Furthermore he has treated the american olympic boxing team, fiji rugby league team and wales rugby league.
